Een verloren foto op het trottoir heeft altijd iets van een verloren ziel.
En iedereen die wel eens op een rommelmarkt met zomaar een foto-
album in handen heeft gestaan kent het gevoel: hoe komt dat album
hier? Wie zijn die mensen? Waarom kijkt niemand meer naar ze?
Deze dwalenden zielen kunnen weer een thuis krijgen via de website Timetales. 'A picture needs memories te be an image', zo luidt
het motto van de site waarop iedereen zelf zijn gevonden foto's kan plaatsen. Inmiddels zijn er honderden foto's op geplaatst, voorzien van vindplaats en naam van de vinder.

A lost photograph on the footpath always has something of a lost soul in it. And anybody who has ever been snuffling around a jumble sale and ends up with a photo album in their hands is familiar with this feeling:
How did this album get here? Who are these people? Why is nobody looking at them anymore?
These wandering souls can again find a home on the Timetales website. The motto from the site on which everybody can place their found photographs is 'A picture needs memories to be an image'. Hundreds of photos have in the meanwhile been placed on the site accompanied with the name of the person who found it as well the place where it was found.
